Finding beauty in the disagreeable; it’s in there somewhere
January 25, 2010 – 9:40 amWe all have our rubs, things that just get under our skin and it seems nearly impossible to get them out. Traffic, long lines, people who talk too much and never seem to listen at all… Mine, though, is rain. Last week it rained. And rained and rained. It poured for 5 days straight. On Day 5, I decided it was time to find something positive out on the drowning backyard patio. During a few brief moments when the watering sky let up, I found these… I knew it was in there somewhere. Where is yours?

Loving the color of those pink flowers – talk about vibrant! And the oranges are seriously causing a craving. Thanks for the good outdoor eye candy!
